Busy times at the Diller headquarters

Contributed by Daniel Moll

Lara was in Budapest working on important coordinator training, however our JC's and senior JC killed it! This week was interesting because it is several weeks from finals week and many people were busy or had special situations and make it however, it was a nice workshop and very mellow. At this workshop we learned more about how we can make Community week more efficient and effective.

After that Ariel lead a activity about mental disorders and the stigma associated with it. It was interesting to learn about how society perceives mental conditions and how we as a group could be more aware of existing conditions and not assume things about others. We were originally going to have a guest that would tie in the activity but because the guest wasn't able to be there we made do.

Stemming from that,we also had an in-depth discussion about how we could feel more comfortable around each other and about how we could become a stronger cohort. This activity helps us learn more about each other and how we could create a stronger, more personal bond than we ready do with each other. Josh Levy, Sam Levy, and Hannah Chorley all celebrated their recent birthdays at this workshop.
