Transitions and Evolutions - Workshop 8!

Contributed by Emmet

This past Sunday April 19, the Diller cohort 18 had yet another amazing day. It was bittersweet, as we said goodbye to out former coordinator, Gabi and got to know our new one, Lara, but it was still filled with fun.

We did two interactive activities. One of them involved popping balloons and reading and answering questions regarding our NAS experience; the other activity was an interactive reflection on the leaders we have become through Diller and what we want to work on still.
Laurel jumps as Sam, Jesse and Sasha take cover
Jesse gingerly (pun intended?) steps on her balloon

Sasha tries a knee drop pop move
In the interactive reflection we used a spool of yarn to symbolize the support system we as Diller teens have through this program. We discussed our plans for Community Week in Israel, and the logistics of planning that. Lara also led us in a 10 min Zumba class to spice up our afternoon. To end our meeting we did a reflection in our journals about our journeys as leaders so far.

The web of leadership begins to take form
